Variable frequency drives from Delta, Schneider Electric, and CG Emotron — sized together with your motor and gearbox, supplied loose or built into a tested panel.
Speed Control Done Right
A variable frequency drive is only as good as the drive chain around it. Because Anand Gears manufactures the gearbox and supplies the motor, we size the motor + gearbox + VFD as one system: the gear ratio does the torque multiplication, the drive does soft starting and speed trim, and the motor stays in its efficient cooling band. The result is usually a smaller drive than a drives-only vendor would quote — and a machine that holds its load properly.
We commonly arrange drives from Delta (MS300, ME300, VFD-EL, EL-W, C2000), Schneider Electric (Altivar ATV310/312/320 machine drives, ATV212 for HVAC and pumps, legacy ATV71 support), and CG Emotron — loose, or wired into an IP-rated panel built and tested at our Thane facility.

Complete Range
Expand a series to see individual model numbers. Delta encodes ratings in the model number — e.g. VFD4A2MS43ANSAA is a 4.2 A output, 460 V-class three-phase MS300; VFD007EL21A is a 0.75 kW, 230 V-class single-phase VFD-EL.
Heavy-duty compact drive with built-in Modbus RTU and safe torque off. Rated output current is encoded in the model number (e.g. 4A2 = 4.2 A).

A model not listed here can usually still be arranged — these are the variants we handle most often. Confirm exact specifications against the manufacturer's datasheet at the time of quotation.
The Anand Gears Advantage
Motor, gearbox, VFD, and panel — engineered as one system, from one vendor.
Self-locking worm gearboxes hold the load; the VFD gives controlled ramps so the mesh never sees shock. We set accel/decel times to suit the worm mesh and the driven inertia.
A geared motor with a matched VFD arrives as one tested set — ratio chosen so the motor runs near base speed at your duty point, where torque and cooling are best.
Using a helical gearbox for the heavy reduction lets the VFD work in its comfortable band — often one frame size smaller than a drives-only quote.
Industry Solutions
Soft starts kill belt slip and mechanical shock; speed trim matches line rate. Pairs with our conveyor gearboxes.
Fan-law savings: a small speed reduction cuts power dramatically. ATV212 and EL-class drives with our cooling tower gearboxes.
PID head/flow control built into the drive; dry-run and overload protection configured before dispatch.
Precise line-speed matching across unwinders, laminators, and conveyors — with our packaging gearboxes.
C2000-class vector drives hold screw torque at low speed — matched to our extruder gearboxes for melt-stable output.
Closed-loop control with brake sequencing on heavy lifting duties — engineered case-by-case with the mechanical drive.
Common Questions
We commonly arrange Delta drives (MS300, ME300, VFD-EL, EL-W, legacy L-series, and C2000 for heavy applications), Schneider Electric Altivar drives (ATV310, ATV312, ATV320 machine drives, ATV212 for HVAC and pumps, and legacy ATV71 support), and CG Emotron compact drives. The right series is chosen per application — motor size, duty, control requirement, and environment.
Either. Many customers buy drives alone. But because Anand Gears manufactures the gearboxes too, we can size motor, gearbox, and VFD as one system — which usually means a smaller, cheaper drive and a gear ratio that keeps the motor in its efficient speed band, instead of oversizing the VFD to compensate for a wrong ratio.
Yes. VFD panels are built and tested in-house at our Thane facility — drive, input protection, contactor or bypass arrangement as needed, cooling, and an IP-rated enclosure in mild steel, stainless steel, or polycarbonate. Panels ship with as-built drawings and test certificates. See Control Panels & Starters.
Yes. 230 V class single-phase-input models suit small machines running from a domestic or light-commercial supply; 415 V class three-phase-input models cover industrial loads. Note that a VFD's output to the motor is three-phase in both cases — single-phase refers to the incoming supply.
Usually not. A VFD varies speed electronically; a gearbox multiplies torque mechanically and holds loads (self-locking worm ratios). Running a motor very slowly on a VFD alone sacrifices torque and cooling. The best result on most driven machines is a gearbox for torque and base speed, plus a VFD for trim control and soft starting — full comparison here.
